The Catholic Chaplaincy at UEA

holiness is the only adventure!

What’s on

First Mass of term

The first Mass of the new term is on Sunday 24th September at 6pm in the UEA Multifaith Centre. After Mass there is the CathSoc welcome meal!

Sacraments

Mass times are Sunday at 6pm, and Wednesday at 7pm (followed by Exposition and Benediction).

The Sacrament of Confession is available after Mass on Sunday and Wednesday, and at other times by appointment.  We’re really keen on Confession!  We dedicate an extended time for Confession on the first Sunday afternoon of each month.  Don’t be afraid to come!

Liturgy of the Hours

The Liturgy of the Hours is a way of sanctifying the day in prayer. It’s a great way to make the day holy!  If you have never tried it before – come and see! Anchor your life in God at the start and end of each day.

Morning Prayer is said every morning at 8.45am, Monday to Friday

If you have never prayed the Liturgy of the Hours before, and would like some guidance – just ask!

Rosary

The Rosary is prayed every Friday at 1pm.  We choose our intentions for each of the five decades of the Rosary. If you know of someone who is in need of prayer, come along.  And If you have never prayed the Rosary before, come and find out.
